Nuuk, the capital city of Greenland, has a polar climate that is maritime influenced. Overall, it is not too cold or too warm on any given day. The temps are just right throughout the year. Because this is my ideal climate, I give this one a A+.

I give Nuuk an "F" since it's freezing all year and trees can't even grow there! Since there is no "F" option, I'm not even going to vote on this one.

well, i like the cold but not THIS much!

This is crazy weather!! The average high for the warmest month is colder than the average low of the coldest month where i live in!

No way i could live in a place where average year weather is below 0c!! Thats just too much, like living in a freezer!

I will give it a Z . Too bad you only have good ratings in the options .

Trees do grow in Greenland. The reason why there are no trees because this part of Greenland was practically covered by an ice sheet during the ice age. Even though the ice sheet at the coast has melted, Greenland is too far away from other continental landmasses for plant seeds to be dispersed.

Most Canadian and American cities in the northern states are much colder than Nuuk in winter.

You're right. Trees can grow in Greenland but not in Nuuk as it's too cold in the summer. Only in the extreme southern part of Greenland can trees grow. There is a small stunted forest in the Qinngua Valley near the settlement of Nanortalik that supports Willow and Birch trees.

The only major US city (over 1,000,000 people) that is colder than Nuuk in winter is Minneapolis.
Most Canadian cities are indeed colder in winter though with the exception of Toronto and Vancouver.
