What i meant to say is that record highs and record lows are only from between 2005-2015.

Warmest Decembers on record for the city of Chicago and where the official station was.
As of the 29th MDW has a Mean of 42.0F, Northerly Island (lakefront) 41.2F, and ORD 39.8F. ORD is the official site and will probably be the 4th or 5th warmest on record. MDW's records go back to 1928 and this December will be the warmest for that site on record.
