You are INSANE to be walking around in shorts...

If I was standing still or sitting, then I'd agree. But I'm moving and my extremities are protected which keeps the core body temperature about where it ought to be. In fact, tonight was warmer (30s) and I had to roll up my sleeves and remove my mittens at one point to keep cool. It just sounds insane, but really isn't.

true, it gets on my nerves when its like 24 degrees outside people are wearing shorts and those same people complain that it's cold

Sheridan, Wy.

The cold is holding. Had below zero temps yesterday morning. Tonight it's supposed to get down to single digits by morning.

Most likely a fantasy model run, but look at the 18Z GFS on the cold for the first week of December.

Hr 276

BRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

If this run were to verify, which it most likely wont (this is long range speculation), that would mean 6-12" of snow from Houston to San Antonio and temps up in Minnesota dipping down to -20.

Thats why these type of runs are called fantasy runs .... lol

I used to line near Fort Lauderdale, FL, and trust me it ain't sunny 12 months a year. It rains basically every day between about April 20- October 15.

One of the things that I've noticed about Fla. is that it has rain SO many days of the year, but it isn't like a whole day rain. It may get super humid and rain for a half hour and then stop and the sun comes out. When it rains here, you can bet you'll probably have anywhere from a half day to a couple days of constant rain.

Yea, when I lived in south florida there can be a terrible lightning storm and 15 minutes later there will be sunshine and everything will be calm again.
