nothing mild about the forecast here.... and certainly hasn't been dry at all. Rain and overcast most days, and the usual soft waterlogged ground. Only those goddamned Perfffffffffffffffffs are getting mild and sunny weather but what the **** else is new

So far this month, we've had FIVE days with 0.0 hours of sun and the average is running at a nauseating 2.3 hours

THe forecast is about as gay as it gets.... every day below average. Been a while since I've seen such a pisshead forecast and it's not even JUly yet. Global warming alright

I'm really not enjoying this profoundly overextended wet spell. I can't remember the last time I saw the sun. I'm starting to go crazy here. And the forecast for next week is horrible! A whole week of single digit highs?

Possibility of snow later in the week, so that could be interesting at least. Except that it will probably turn out like that cold snap last month where we got a ton of sleet and hail and a tiny amount of snow that melted instantly.

Perth gets slightly more rain over the 3 the winter months, than here, but your rain days are nearly double. Perth is about 6% sunnier, allowing for latitude difference. That would indicate more frequent falls, of lesser totals. I don't know how the intensity would compare, but downpours are common here, due to orographic lifting. Also common are 24-36 hours of steady moderate rainfall, with totals about 40-60mm.

156 mm here so far, with another 60-80mm forecast overnight.Down to 12C/54F overnight, with a high tomorrow of 16C/60F.

It's been a very mild winter so far, with the first plum blossom out already, and wattles almost ready for their brilliant display of "Green and Gold"
During June/July 18 rain days over 0.2mm and 15 over 1mm. So rainfall regularly arrives, but in small doses. It rarely rains heavily here for more than a few hours in a row.

I've noticed people here complain when the daily maximums do not reach 20C. This only happens on average about 25 days/year!

Last year we had six consecutive days when the mercury failed to hit 20C between 23-Jun and 28-Jun. I was more concerned we only had 1.8 hours of sun over this period (the temps did not really bother me that much!).

A surprisingly decent thunderstorm has just passed through with 9mm of rain. MTD total now up to 23mm which is still appalling but the record low of 25mm in 2006 should be easily surpassed by months end. Not likely that much rain will penetrate inland with this system.

Looking like another very uncertain season for farmers in the Wheatbelt, the once reliable winter rains seem to be getting more flukey by the year.

You are at 55* latitude on a cold windswept island, while I am at 38* latitude on a continent that is mostly desert and in the tropics/subtropics. OF COURSE IT IS COLDER IN NORTH IRELAND - AM I SUPPOSED TO FEEL SORRY FOR YOU?

And yeah, usual overcast, usual drizzle and usual soggy wet ground once again today And it is a mere 9C at 11AM.

Unstable conditions have produced some low MTD sun totals this month - but I'm still picking some sort of improvement in the last week. But final totals are still likely to be well below average.
