The other negative is that I don't have the option of getting some sun after work since it's dark by then. I summer I would still have a good few hours to sunbathe.
We are heading in the opposite direction after easily the cloudiest spell I've encountered in my short tenure so far in Brisbane (after another heavily overcast day today, we are under 40 hours for the first 12 days).

A week of sunny days is forecast so I will overdose myself on sun

A blistering high of 13.5C today with light rain all day. How fun The failcast says the same for the rest of forecast period.

Another sunny day and 19C. Only 14mm of rain has fallen MTD, very poor for June. Basically no rain forecast for at least the next week either and could be one of the driest June's on record though this seems to be the norm now...sigh.

SOujnds like typical perfffffffffffffffffff derrffffffffffffffffffffffffffff fare..... nothing but warmth and sunshine. Oh and Hot & Spicy KFC year round, unlike in this cold dead**** state. If anything, we should have hot & spicy considering how ****ing cold and overcast and rainy it is here for half the year

Looks a very grim week ahead, with the extended forecast showing eight rainy overcast days in a row.

Up to now 40-60% of the country is well below sunshine average MTD, may get worse before it gets better. I'd expect a partial rebalancing later in the month with W-SW flow.

Locally however there have some relatively balmy days and nights as some compensation. Some inland areas on the NI are more than 2C above means so far.

The top three cities have been very cloudy so far this month. Totals, ending 13th June:

Brisbane: 42.0 hours (3.2 hrs/day)
Sydney: 60.6 hours (4.7 hrs/day)
Melbourne: 31.6 (2.4 hrs/day)

I've posted several times on this given I am 'solar charged' and more aware of the cloudiness (plus aways wondering if monthly records could be under threat).

It is a beautiful day here today and looks great for the next week. It feels cooler but that is of minimal concern to me right now.
