That's unexpected. Atlanta's hottest temperature so far is 88F, which occurred on May 21. Even though they haven't cracked 90F, Atlanta has cracked 80F 25 days so far this year. Last year by this point Atlanta had experienced 48 days >80F.

Weird how so many New England cities made the list while we had a few days that passed 90°F (94 or 95°F).

I know right. Without getting too far off topic I am still wondering how there were more widespread 90s in New England but not in the southeast or parts of Mid Atlantic. I dont think Kentucky even saw as many 90s. I mean how can CT/NH & ME see so many 90s but PA not.
