Astoria, Oregon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

1 snow day
190 rain days
Winter 37-51F, extremely wet
Summer 50-69F, semi-dry

2) What other locales have similar climate?

B+
I like all the rain it gets and its pattern, plus I am fond of those mild winters.
I dislike the too subtle summer, it woul need 3ºC more on the highs, the lows are perfect.

The records are very similar to my hometown: 37/-13ºC

As for the second question, maybe santiago de compostela, oviedo, lugo, northwestern spain, although a bit warmer

Always funny that such places have higher record highs than HK or Singapore

Anyway, D with a potential +/- adjustment based on sunshine (not shown here). Probably not that sunny though.

E. No summer or winter to speak of imho and the mediterranean precipitation pattern makes it even less appealing.

South-central Chile looks similar too:
Puerto Montt - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Osorno, Chile - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Valdivia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
