Passo Fundo has frequent frosts/freezes in winter....Jacksonville only averages 5 or so I think.
Also, Jacksonville has had measurable snow on
only three occasions in the last 100 years (1937, 1989, 2010). Snow seems more common in Passo Fundo it looks like.
Still I rate it a B- climate, though summers are a bit cool and short.
