21:32 is the latest sunset of the year for Freiburg. Malaga gets later sunsets which felt normal for the time being but looking back now, definitely strange.

Murcia had **** sunsets. It was dark by 9:30 and by dark I mean pitch dark. A full two hours before here.

I remember planning to stay out in our villa pool until 10pm then getting a shock..

Why? Twilight is such a waste of time and light. When the sun goes down it should be dark.

No it isn't because here when the sun goes down its actually daylight for like an hour plus.

Its quite confusing though. If its sunny I can't really tell if its 4pm or 9pm.
(And no theres not much difference in sun angle its more midday).

No i don't think so. Today's sunset was at 21:35 here, but the twilight was even more intense than the sunset itself, the sky was glowing until almost 22:30. Sometimes the twilight can be even the better part of the sunset i think, especially in a maritime location.
