A very strange climate. The spring and fall are the only normal parts of the year, and everything else is really weird. The summers are very warm and extremely wet (Monsoon season) and the winters are cold and extremely snowy. (Ski season) The temperature rises rapidly around late September/ early October and precipitation dissipates, allowing skiing in 75 degree weather late in the season. The ski season usually lasts from July to early December, ending due to high temperatures and rain. NOTE: Since the precipitation averages include snow, the average rainfall would be different-about 58 inches.

I would rate it a C-/D+ because there is way too much snow and the summers are too rainy, but that's also what makes it unique. The falls and springs are really nice. I'm also biased cause I love skiing. :P

I give it a B. I love the mix of a dry spring and fall, snow in winter, and some thunderstorms in summers but the both the amount of snow and rainfall are WAY over the top. Very creative though. It's like a steamy tropical rainforest in summer and totally alpine in winter. There might be some resorts in the Himalayas that are like this, climate-wise.

Here's a climate that I created that combines snow, summer monsoons, and 8 months of dry, comfortable weather- //www.city-data.com/forum/weath...how-would.html

I'd actually enjoy living there.

At first I was going to make the summer monsoon season have twice the rainfall but figured that It'd be too extreme. And I have to keep the winter snowfall high for the ski season. :P I wonder what kind of trees could survive here?

Well, if you want to see an even crazier (but totally unrealistic!) climate, check out my other creation, //www.city-data.com/forum/weath...e-you-can.html Can you imagine if ANYTHING could grow there?

A solid C... Probably the highest a climate this cold in winter gets from me. Snow is near apocalyptic BUT realistically only effects this place two months a year and presumably melts pretty quickly by late September. The rest of the year is great, including the monsoon summer!
