Can we get a sub forum for those? They're getting out of control.

IMO we should have more climate battles. They're fun.

I agree.

In recent weeks it seems like literally half of all threads on the main page are either "rate my climate" or "climate battle". While there are ones that are sometimes new/interesting/unique, there have been so many of them over time that most types of climates and battles have been done, so for the most part they've become redundant.

That being said, I have nothing against either climate battles or rate my climate, and they can be fun to do. In fact I can think of a couple of my own that I'd be interested in contributing, but at this point the forum is so cluttered up with them that I think they really need a sub-forum of their own.

Easiest expedient is to simply not bother looking at most of them. My ratio is approaching 100%. But yes - a subforum would be a good notion, making it easier to scan the rest of the stuff.

I would be okay if they got a subforum. That way, people who are sick and tired of the whole subject don't have to look at all the thread titles and those of us who enjoy the subject can still create our fantastic fictional climates to no end .

nah, they can be interesting, as long as the the poll-maker takes some more obscure and less discussed climates in their polls. however, many climate battles/rate the climates is just a repeat of earlier ones and just takes well-known cities that most people already have looked at anyways. cant remember how many times i've seen stockholm in climate battles lately. wtf?
