I did say that both of these climates are detestable, but begrudgingly I'll have to go with Bergen. I cannot stand humid heat, especially when it's cloudy all the time. Also, at least the "summers" in Bergen are sort of comfortable.

They're both hellholes for me, but I'll go with Manaus for the warm rain and thunderstorms. Also, I bet 600 more sun hours makes a difference when the sun hours are that atrocious.

Bergen sunhours should be removed from the wikipedia article as they are heavily influenced by blocking from all the mountains surrounding the city. Along the same coast, Stavanger lack mountains and has 1,513 sunhours annually (61-90).

Manaus because it is drier than Bergen. Manaus also has a drier dry season and more sunshine. Bergen has a better chance of snow though.
