Highest recorded temperature in Turkey was 49*C in Cizre, Şırnak Province ( August 1961)

Lowest recorded temperature in Turkey was -46.4*C in Çaldıran, Van Province ( January 1990)

Göle usually has the coldest lows in Turkey throughout the year. Both in winter and summer.

Cizre usually has the hottest highs in Turkey during the summer months.

None of these places publish long term averages in Turkey because Met Office only publishes the long term averages of provincial capitals.

Nice stats, but London has warmer summers for the urban heat island effect.
