Unbelievable humidity in Illinois! You guys sure don't know what boring weather is.
Here the dew point didn't fall below 21.4°C/71°F last night as the wind didn't shift offshore, being the highest minimum dew point of the year so far I believe.

Wind? What's that?
Was talking to other meteorologists from this area, they agree with me, wind is hard to come by.
Right now 6:30am not even 1 leaf moving. The air is so still that a feather would fall straight down.
Dewpoint 66°F. Feels horrible and not just from preference. If we had a slight breeze it wouldn't feel like this.
Now I'm curious why it's so hard to have some wind here! What is causing that? Even on Long Island it's calm right now.
Mornings are usually unless there's two differing air masses nearby. Wind usually picks up with solar heating in the afternoon.
That's what I'm talking about. There is never any wind, enough to create breezes. (talking about over 6mph!). You would think with solar heating or the coast but nope. What gives?
Oh.. haha. Just saw the location change. Sorry. Thanks. Bridgeport 71. Muggy. Going for a run now.
I hope it stays hot/muggy (no back door crap, please), I want to return feeling like I'm still in Florida, when I left it was Florida-like.
