I'd be annoyed too. It's not bad for our summer standards, but we do get lower humidity with heat, too, especially out of midsummer. Waste of good heat if you don't get it that often.

My dewpoint just hit 19°C / 66°F, I think my back garden could be a bit humid.

My humidity & dewpoints have risen since the sea breeze kicked in earlier, so despite being cooler it still feels pretty warm. Humidity is 64% Dew Point is 16.3C.

Here humidity (as well as temps) has been pretty moderate with the constant NE breeze, as we're on the southeastern side of the high pressure zone. Whith similar synoptics, we would've had some chilly weather in winter.

Btw, what's with these low dew points in southern England right now? Currently -1.1°C in Herstmonceux, Kent.

Less dry to the north, as well as to the south:

Is a 21°C dew point normal for the Atlantic coast of SW France and northern Spain. Looks much higher than I would have thought is normal for that area.

Nope, it's higher than normal. Though Basque country can get quite humid at times. Dax, just inland, often has high temp/dew point combos, such as this one back in August 2003:
Meteociel - Observations Dax (40) - donnes mto de la station - Tableaux horaires en temps réel
(T° 101°F, dp 73°F, American heat index of 112F at 6 pm)

Nice map, covers more stations. Yeah, pretty refreshing looking at those dewpoints in the south there. Temps in the 60s/70sF

Here's dewpoint map (F°). I think its the winds coming from the North is doing it. Not sure why the south is drier though. Are clouds over the Northern end not south because of the Upper Level Low? Are there less trees in the southern end?
