These late season high dewpoints tend to occur with rain (or right before a front). We had relatively high dewpoints last Thursday, too.

Yup. And I know the low and max will be close when it rains. Upper 50s/Low 60s for mid week.

Dews are above normal in the SE rght now in the 60s. Its coming. But of course this time of year it wont be the sweating muggy feeling.

Dewpoint 60s are back here and temps rising after sundown (warm front lifting) Non stop rains all day

4pm Dewpoints in the 20s in some spots. Now in blue

Even though we are well above normal here, I don't mind at all looking at that Wow!

And I don't think I remember the last time seeing the entire country above normal with temps and dewpoints at the same time

Currently 51F here. Temperature 61°. Feels nice and balmy this morning despite not being particularly warm.
