wow, we're having dews around 0-2c right now and with temps above 10c it feels very good, much drier than the usual for january. I can't imagine what a dp around -11c feels like, especially with that kind of temp. We never get that, really.

We had a high of 19 C today with a dew point of -7 C. Felt fantastic.
I spoke too fast, we are having a -8c dewpoint right now and there's no cloud in sight. It's 9c and it actually feels like 9c, that is, nice and cool, not cold, with a refreshing wind.
I thank the god of weather for these three fantastic dry sunny days and pray to the lord for them to return next year.
Dew point down to -10°C this afternoon with a 14°C dry bulb (18% rh) and no hourly rh above 50% today.
Seems really low for a non-continental climate. Dry morning, too. North wind with air dried from going over the mountains?
Dew point down to 9°F at sunrise, but morning low only 21°F; an 8 mph wind may have prevented radiational cooling? Temperature up to 29°F, dewpoint still at 9°F so low relative humidity (41%). Clear blue skies.
Morning of the 19th saw 15°F, 28 mph winds and a dewpoint of -3°F. Another 10-15 mph more wind and the combination would be similar to average January afternoon conditions on Mt. Washington.
Yup north wind was the cause for these low dew points. The dew point varies more dramatically in Nice than it does in Paris.
Sounds like you had raw weather on the 19th. While I like it cold, I don't really enjoy windy cold. Feeling your nostrils freeze in your nose on a calm, starry evening is great. Getting numb extremities after spending a few minutes outside isn't. I don't like wind all that much in general.
Man I miss summer sometimes. No snow at all below 1500 m here, there's no point in having a winter at this rate.

That day felt nasty against exposed skin, tried to stay inside as much as I could. Not much compared to the evening of February the 15th last year:
