Dry heat isn't that common but it occurs from time to time.

Last year on October 15, the temp went up to 95F that afternoon and the dewpoint dropped down to 40F! We were in a drought at the time.

Impressively dry. Certainly doesn't fit the image of a typical Louisiana summer.

Looks like it's back to normal...81 F/27 C with a dewpoint of 75 F/24 C now.

I am sorry but my body does not agree. Am i weird ? A 13c dp with a 15c temp will always feel humid while a 13c with a 32c will always feel dry. Absolute humidity is useless in terms of humidity feelings.
