Stacked low pressure remains over Manitoba into western Ontario with
a cold front arcing down into the upper midwest and into the
plains. Very warm and humid conditions are in place across the
Great Lakes with temperatures well into the 80s and dewpoints up
around 70, about as humid as we get up here.
Big Strong Anomalous Storm in Southern Canada helping pull up the moist air from the Gulf to Hudson Bay.
The strong the storm, the stronger the pull. It's a 986mb Storm which is stacked all the way to the upper levels. Powerful. Hence the dews in the 70s up to Hudson Bay
You can see the effect of humidity on visibility clearly here. With yesterday's 70°F+ dew points, mountains weren't visible from here. With today's dews in the 30s °F, it was as if they were a few kms away. Rh dropped to 14% this afternoon.
