We may have gone from July 16 to August 27 without the dewpoint going below 70F (21.1C). Not sure about July 20 since the data was not available for that date for some reason.
Comparing the three months (June/July/August). This summer felt more humid than normal, but I don't know what the average is. Average temperatures were a few degrees above normal.
Max dew point: 72 / 85 / 76
Average dew pt: 57 / 63 / 63---the average low temperature was 56, 60, and 59F!
Min dew point: 30 / 44 / 46
I don't believe the 85 degree dew point and 124F heat index. That was July 24th, and I saw several stations in the area reporting dew points in the low 80s that day. Illinois was very humid too (//www.city-data.com/forum/weath...hread-305.html) but the daily data near me has an odd jump in dew point, click spoiler to see image. Still, that week was the most humid air I've felt in at least a few years. I went outside one night and it was in the upper 70s, nearly 100% humidity and calm with fog. Interesting, but uncomfortable. Dew point reached 76, 76, 78, then 85 that week and didn't drop below the upper 60s. Usually it only hits the mid 70s a few times a year.
Spoiler
The highest heat index is 35.4C / Dew pt 28.9C / heat index 51.2C

That's amazing. I don't think I've ever experienced more than 3 or 4 days at a time with a 70F minimum, except maybe in Florida.
Drying out here, currently 80F with a dewpoint of 51F.
