Wintercrest is located at 52N, high in a mountain range. Winters are bitterly cold and very, very snowy, with 380.5" of snow per year. Summers are cool. The town has some seasonal lag, with December being the coldest month and August the warmest. Temperatures slowly warm up until August, then a steep temperature drop-off into winter follows. By October, the average high is below freezing and 73.2 inches of snow falls. Conditions calm down by mid-January, but snowfall is still heavy. I give it an A+, however this is not my dream climate. Köppen climate classification is Dsc, or a dry-summer subarctic climate. Despite this, September is one of the wettest months.
A+.... Epic win...reminds me of my dream climate...temperatures and precipitation are nearly perfect, the only thing, which would be a bit annoying is the sunshine, which is way too high for my taste.
Buxton averages 8/17 in June, 11/19 in July and August. Oh and has much higher records highs. But the winters really make this an F climate... dreadful.

Average low of -0.1°C in June. HAHAHAHAHA.
I was going by the average July high of 19°C. With your attitude, it's sounds like Buxton has an average high of 13°C in July.

I really want to give this a better rating than I'm going to, but that darn precipitation just drags it down. At least it doesn't peak at the height of summer like a lot of fictional climates around here, I'll give it that for sure, but still 2+ and 3+ inches in the warmest months. I like how snowy and sunny it is though. C!
D for having too cold temperatures year round. Winters are bitter and summers aren't warm enough for outdoor swimming. Would much rather experience snow at 25 F than at -5 F.
Only needed to look at the name of this city and knew it would be an F.
What's up with all the frozen climates recently?
