Enjoy your climate, you are lucky to live in Buxton I would move there instantly if I can.
Indeed, and even San Diego is less boring than any climate on the equator - 90/77F with an afternoon thunderstorm every single day of the year makes the UK seem like a weather-lover's dream. The UK is on the boring side, but there are many worse places, so I vote no in the poll.

I'm not stupid, and I vote No. The framing of the response alternatives is intrinsically insulting to anyone who disagrees with the OP.

No offence I voted yes its boring but wouldnt want it any other way - do we really want tornadoes, hurricanes, extreme heat tsunamis, no i personally wouldn't.

Plus we have had extreme or definately not boring weather recently. 2007 we had the worst floods ever here in yorkshire. Currently (july 2013) Yorkshire are having a 3 day heatwave. 3 years ago we had 3 years on trot where we were snowed in so yes we have drizzle and yes we tend to experience same weather majority of time but we do still make the headlines so to speak

I agree 30c is far too hot and sticky for me personally, we had a full 2 weeks of temperatures reaching around 25c and its be lovely.

Yes, I personally find it an offensive climate. Dunno how they cope there.

If you want a truly boring climate, try an equatorial city like Singapore! Hot and humid year round with barely any temperature variation during the year!

What is so offensive about it? Extremes of temps are not common. You want offensive, come here in January and have 55F one week, and then 25F the next.
