Tofino because it's warmer, sunnier and wetter.

Buxton for me, due to being a relatively snowy place. Tofino is too mild in the winter, and a bit too wet.

Normally I would choose Tofino because it's a little warmer, but all that rain kills it for me.

A tricky one. I voted Tofino, because it's sunnier, but looking at it's rainfall stats, I think it's a "moss belt" town and I don't like mossy places (to live). Buxton has similar rainfall to here, so shouldn't be mossy, although I'm guessing it's a damp place, so could be a mossy town.

There isn't much moss here from what I can see anyway.

So apparently this climate battle made the news in Tofino shortly after it was posted... I guess I can say I've officially been quoted on the news now

Very difficult choice, but I'm going to have to give the edge to Buxton for being colder in winter and cloudier. Love Tofino's rainfall and I'm sure it's a beautiful place.
