Elevation map of Leeds.. in the top left corner is Leeds Bradford Airport - now you can see why it is so much colder than the city centre (35 m)! In fact, I don't think any weather station could truly represent the entire city because it's so hilly and elevation is so varying, since there are multiple valleys and streams.
