I'm surprised that this one hasn't been done before: Stanley, Idaho - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

B for me. Winters are actually too warm, but since snowfall is ok, I can live with that.... Summer highs are actually too high and the lows are too low .. but all in all it's still a good climate.

For being 2000m above sea level I am surprised at both its winter max and summer max which seem rather high for the altitude

C+

I can't quite give it a B as the lows are really cold, even in summer.
September lows already averaging well below freezing
Surprisinly, the highs aren't much different than many places in northern New England
or New Brunswick.

D. Those summer lows are disgusting and are just enough to bring down an otherwise fine climate for me.

D+ for me. First winters: Ok it is too cold and dry with a higher diurnal range than I would like, but I could deal with it. Summers: Daytime highs are good, but those lows are terrible. I wouldn't even want record lows in the 30s - never mind average lows. If the summer had decent lows I would have given it a B.
