A bit unfair using a climate hotter than anywhere's on earth. Since LOCO is lethal I'll go with Mystery.

The normal "hot vs cold" battles have been done to death and it's obvious which climate which regulars will pick so I prefer an x-treme climate vs a reasonable climate for climate battles.

I've seen cold/snow lovers turn down mild (not hot) climates in favor of the SOUTH POLE in other polls just to get their fix of snow and cold. So this is the test of "reasonable cold" vs x-treme heat. "Mystery" isn't even that cold in winter but it's long and dark and there is also lack a summer. Loco has a thunderstorm season while "Mystery" gets a thunderstorm only once in 50-100 years so there is also an incentive for thunderstorm enthusiasts as well.

I know MOST ppl will pick "Mystery" over Loco but am waiting for the hardcore heat lovers/ cold haters to vote. Btw- anyone wanna guess why I picked the name "Loco" for this climate?

My computer is broken, and I can't post images since I'm on my phone. But I have Eccentrica and a whole page full of other climates here.

Impressive- a climate with records above boiling- how long can a person stay outside without a spacesuit there?

It's hard to say. It's about as hot as a sauna, but with the humidity and sunshine factored in, you would succumb to heatstroke is about 20-30 seconds. You'd be roasted alive. This is why all the residents of Eccentrica migrate to maritime polar areas, where summer highs are in the 90's. They return for the winter. Winter is still severely cold, however not nearly as deadly as the summer. Winter temperatures are comparable to Oymyakon.

I'd think they'd live in climate controlled domed colonies with all the amenities- offices, schools, stores, inside the colony. They'd only venture outside the colony either; when the weather is within human comfort range, or wear an evrivonmental suit in extreme conditions. One day, we will have domed colonies on other planets- on top of a hostile climate, there would be no breathable air, so we'd have find ways to manufacture "earth like condition" in those bubbles- the colonies would be kept at 70F by day and 60F by night. Outside the colony, humans would need a spacesuit providing oxygen as well as protection from temperatures from -460 F to 300 F.

I KNEW that this poll would be pretty lopsided but I'm still surprised that there is STILL not one single vote for Loco; the hardcore cold haters/ heat lovers still haven't voted yet..remember that Loco is a DRY heat!

There's a difference between extremely hot and just lethal. I doubt anyone (well I guess there's someone, somewhere) will choose a lethal climate except as a joke or mindlessly.
