Back in late June, Death Valley, California hit 128 degrees F. And one overnight minimum temperature was 104 degrees F. I will post a list of some recent daily temps from that place shortly. Palm Springs, California reached 120 degrees F during the same time period and Needles, California reached 123... almost hitting the all-time record maximum there of 125 degrees F.
Looks like Unofficially at this moment 26 Stations are reporting high temperatures that have broken records for the day.
6 are located in Hungary - highest temp at 96°F (36°C)
5 are located in Serbia & Montenegro highest temp at 105.8°F (41°C)
4 are loacted in Italian - highest temp at 100.4°F (38°C)
