Weather = a marriage of everything. You have to appreciate it when you can see the players on the field make something happen.

Take a look at the new 500mb flow released from OPC for mid week. http://www.opc.ncep.noaa.gov/shtml/A_96hr500bw.gif

Look at that central Atlantic ridge! That in turn blocks any system from going OTS. It's just a matter of getting a system to form and it will ride up the coast. Sure enough, the new Euro has this. (right image).

So the "flow" is there, just have to see if a storm organizes and how strong it is.

Me personally....my unprofessional thoughts... my gut is saying no big snowstorm mid week but maybe 1-3" from Baltimore to Maine. If I see anything different from that I'll post it.

Light blue on Euro is below 0 at 850mb

Real feel index was 73 F for a few minutes according to Accuweather. Then it dropped back down to more comfortable (but still hot) levels.

The heat index isn't calculated for temperatures in the low 70s. Warmest temperature recorded for Somerville, NJ yesterday was 62F with a dew point of 60F. Not really hot.
