Tomorrow is the first day of college for me. Have classes from 12-9 PM. Hope I can Make it back at 9:00 PM in time before the snow turns bad. I really don't like driving in heavy snow that much. It destroys my car's beautiful body .

Not sure how far your commute is or how good your tires are but nobody should be on the roads after sundown. Check with the school. Pretty sure they'll cancel. Be safe.
Yesterday I thought SREF was drunk with a 5" mean for tomorrow, now shows a 20" mean for BDL and 14" for BDR. Deserves Respect as the first to see more precip with the storm. granted these totals now are still inflated, it saw higher totals from yesterday morning.
As of the 18th Chicago is seeing it's 6th snowiest season on record. Seven of the top ten snowiest seasons went on to produce significant snowfalls after this date.
Lake effect snow plumes tonight, though localized, have a potential of dropping lots of snow on the city and points directly south and into Northwest Indiana.

You and me both. My class ends at 10PM and it's a 30 minute ride for me. But I'm fairly confident they'll cancel if it plays out as predicted. Even Rutgers, which is notoriously reluctant to close for snow. They cancelled in February 2010 when I was there for snow.

I saw the campus status updates, and it still says tomorrow is operating. Classes are also starting tomorrow. What an odd coincidence . RU rarely cancels for 5-7" of snow, which is predicted in the Piscataway area. I commute to Busch BTW.
Not going above 20F until Saturday. Don't see above freezing in the forecast at all.
