Yup. Lots of qpf with this system. That's why they are thinking 2 feet for higher elevations.

Welcome to the new pattern. Storms should be making the bend and heading into northern plains and great lakes.

But the true cold air is still leaning towards Asia and China ..not North America.

I hope I get to see some snow here on the Piedmont in northeast Georgia this winter. The last two winters had no snow. I also look forward to those lazy days with steady, soaking rain and temperatures around 50°.
