When you see this in the winter its special. When you see it October 4th its nuts. SPC Meso discussion for a blizzard.

New SPC Mesoscale Discussion indicates blizzard conditions becoming increasingly likely this afternoon and evening across western South Dakota, as winds of 30-40 mph, with gusts of 45-44 mph create whiteout conditions...

Very jealous. The snowstorm we got in October two years ago caused major headaches, but I'll take snow over this heat and humidity we're having now. Currently 84 F/29 C.

weird we got cloud. 63°F here. Dew point rose to 62°F but it didn't warm up with the lack of sun. didn't even notice the humidity since it was so cool.

As long as spring took to arrive, this warmth better stick around. I don't want snow until January, at the earliest.

Yeah, all the blizzard updates I almost didn't realize how hot it was today. I hit 83F! Records were broken nearby. I think Newark got to near 90!

Look at the 3pm New England contrast.

It's 83 degrees (28.5c) in my room right now. Took the reading with the ceiling fan control thermometer. Words can't describe how much I hate this.

Snow in America while Northern Europe is... warming up. It went from sub-freezing lows and 6°C highs to 7°C lows and summery highs in a few days. I wore a T-shirt outside yesterday. Got some weird looks but I think it's funnier to wear a winter parka in 15°C weather. October is forecasted to be the sixth consecutive warmer than average month now.

I'm hoping to see a colder than average year in my lifetime. The chances of that happening aren't looking good.
