Am I the only one still asking for summer to end? highs are still in the mid to upper 80s here and in the mid 70s at night. would could even see temps rise into the lower 90s over the interior tomorrow and on monday. But fortunately it looks like summer might temporarily come to an end with a cool front causing highs to "only" be in the low to mid 80s with lows around 70. To be honest I find that to be perfect outdoor weather so I will be happy . but for now I'll have to deal with the heat and humidity as usual.

lol. I could of swore you once said you like the heat but only in summer and that you didn't mind snow and cold in Winter. But I guess because its Fall maybe you don't want to see it yet. With us being inside the trough and air above being cold there's going to be flurries and snow showers around starting mid week.

But if I remember correctly your area doesn't see snow as much as other areas because your in a valley and protected by hills?

If things are marginal I probably wouldn't call white stuff for you then. There will be more cold drizzles than anything.

I attached the latest GFS data for CEF (southern MA). I don't see anything supporting snow for this location on that run.

A look at the records for the past week minus the rain records..

Spearfish, SD is in there again for the daily snow record on the 15th with 10 inches.

Yea, it's not close to winter. I'm more interested in 60s/70s more than anything else (70s is going to be hard to get, but 60s and high 50s is what I'd prefer). But I suspect the snow flurries will miss me, but we'll see. The last month is (and will be) the best weather of the year IMO.

What I meant was if it's winter and 30s/low 40s might as well get a bit colder and snow, rather still be cold. Otherwise I prefer it warmer, except during the summer. Though I don't mind some hot summer days.

Reasonably cold day next Saturday

Signs of November being a cold month and a pattern change arriving.
