I just saw a low temperature beginning with a "3" in the forecast. I'm officially uninterested in weather/climate until something interesting happens, or until Late-Feb/March.
One more warm day here in the 60s then cold front with little rain comes through Tuesday night. Snowflakes mixing in won't be a surprise for the hills. I'm thinking I dip to low 40s tonight then mid 30s rest of week.
Biggest snowfall winners today: 5" in Askov, MN and 3" in Upson, WI
I knew NWS had a warm bias in the beginning, I called that we might have a 40 F low and that Mississippi could have it's first freeze last week, they've lowered the low for friday from about 50 F now they're forecasting 42 F here, maybe it'll get even colder
Check out the morning lows in the outlying western portions of the Chicago metro area... Away from the lake and the UHI, tomorrow morning it will dip to 24F/-4C.. Is that cold enough for October?

There was a bit of variation with the daytime highs today in my area.
