Which would you choose?

Hong Kong - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

New Orleans - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I think I'll go for Hong Kong for overall milder winters and much less severe cold snaps.

^ What Deneb said. I am all about mild winters (although New Orleans is no slouch in that department either!)

NOLA. HK is far too cloudy.

New Orleans. Cooler average temps in all months(still a hot summer though) and a near perfect rain/sunshine spread. Those pesky cold snaps could be a problem though.

New Orleans because of more sun and more thunderstorms.

I surely prefer the warmer temps of HK, but if you consider sunshine....I might go for New Orleans instead.

New Orleans, as it's sunnier and has a good amount of rain days.
Hong Kong seems cloudy and gloomier and more humid.

On a related note, why does New Orleans' rainfall on average dip in October (from those stats at least) as the driest month of the year?
