I'm curious to see what will win this climate battle...
I just got back from a vacation to Honolulu and the weather was absolutely perfect! Even in the height of summer.. I barely needed A/C! I was outside hiking and swimming most of the days and didn't feel overheated in the slightest especially with the gentle breeze of the trade winds...
Anyway, which climate do you prefer and why?

Lucky you, here we have had September weather for the past week. Last week one day the low got to 5c then the next to 5.3c. October weather.

Honolulu is a solid A from me.

How was the humidity there?

More humid than Vancouver in the summer.... that's the first thing I noticed when I got off the plane... higher humidity but the heat index was not oppressive.. I'd say maybe 60% during the day and 75-80% at night...

Going to Honolulu from Vancouver in summer I guess it's a cheap time to visit, good deals

Honolulu in winter...sure, but in summer?
Vancouver has IMO has a beautiful summer (this year especially),
much better than sticky humid Honolulu, yuck.

Honolulu is nice to visit in january.

Vancouver to live.

Honolulu's summer days are not horrible, but nights are way too warm, especially record lows. Also, Vancouver can get snow, so Vancouver.
