Many people have a preferred climate but don't live there. If not, then what prevents you from moving & living in your preferred climate?

My preferred climates are all in foreign countries, thousands of miles away. In theory it wouldn't be hard at all for me to move to a place like Sweden, Finland or Estonia, but for now, I don't want to. I like living in England, all of my friends and family are here, as is my secure source of employment, and the climate is alright, comfortable all the time, rarely hot, and some snow.

I would love to live abroad for a while though, but not sure about permanently.

Not sure what the job market is like in the Canadian cities I'm interested in, and I'm not sure whether Canadians in my industry are looking for immigrant workers. But if I do manage to find a job there, I'll be good to go.

My preferred destinations are in the USA and I'm a Canadian. Not having a green card prevents me from living in my preferred destinations.

I don't really know if I live in my preferred climate or not. I like my climate but wouldn't mind a change. Maybe in a few years I'll move to somewhere in coastal NSW or southern Queensland for a few years.

For now, I'm too busy trying to make my millions, for a move.

I like where I live now, even if the weather isn't ideal. If I move in the near future, it will either be back up to York, or St Helier, Jersey.

I have an opportunity to move to Valparaiso, Florida, but I'm not sure if I'm going to take the job yet. It's probably a bit too hot for my daughter, and my wife isn't a big fan of humid weather. I think if I go abroad, Brisbane will be my most likely destination. My sister lives there and the weather seems much more comfortable than Florida.
