Now without further ado, this poll will be a revised version of Caleb Yeung (my) dream climate and tärnajokk's, which is named Riksuando.
My dream climate is technically subarctic with no dry season (Dfc), but with strong maritime moderation that makes it almost a cool Cfc climate, but also straddling the ET/Dfc border. BTW, it is a rather gloomy climate as you can tell from the 1,829 mm precipitation - only 1,000 sunshine hours which is similar to what tärnajokk's dream climate gets.
tärnajokk's dream climate, on the other hand, is a different world. Winters are cold, subarctic-style and can be frigid at times, lasting from Nov to March. Then comes a rather benign spring with freezing temperatures lasting to May. There's also the summer, which, although warmer overall than mine, has never gotten to 30c. A mixture of snow and rain in Oct, and then winter arrives before you know it.
Which one would you choose? My Aleutian-style wet cool paradise or tärnajokk's Canada-style taiga paradise?
P.S. My dream climate's Jun and Aug snow mostly falls in the cooler halves of the month, so the period from Jun 15 - Aug 15 is almost snow-free.
FOR MODS: Please don't delete this thread. Our dream climates changed so this ISN'T a copy.
tarnajokk's, a bit warmer in the summer. Cold winters for sure, but they end quicker and slushy icy conditions are much less likely.
tarnajokk's: B, would possibly be an A if it was much drier.
Caleb Yeung's: B, maybe C depending on how often it rains and how often rain turns any lying snow into ice
