^^ Is it heatwave in your area? 78 degrees seems "hot" for your preference!
Maybe our current severe smog is related to your fictional climate heatwave (el nino)?

Yeah, at the end of August it was cold and snowing through Sept. 10th. Then a heatwave has hit, and highs mostly in the 60s and 70s are expected to last until Sept. 25th or so. Some crazy weather on both ends happening all very quickly.
There was an 84F temperature earlier this month, but was later followed by a 28F low that same day.
Currently 86F and partly cloudy. The high will be 88F. Dew point is 69F. Will get down to 74F tonight.

Both of our dream climates have the exact same sunset time for today. Of course mine has a much lower sun angle and earlier sunrise. My fictional climate is probably at 62 N, making the sun angle at solar noon at 31-32 degrees I would guess (Your climate is at 28 N).

Mine is around 33 N.
As of 4pm it's partly cloudy and 80F with a dewpoint of 57F.
