I'd like less amount of precipitation days, less of those >1mm days where it is just drizzly and cloudy.

Yep, that's one thing that can be said about mild climates. Good climates for being outside, sport etc for 12 months of the year. Very few days, not suitable for a nice bike ride or game of golf/tennis etc

Lol about the UK having golf/tennins weather in winter. I don't consider 45F golf or tennis weather.
