I love July as the weather is usually good that time of year and to be more specific around July 4th. Always take time off for that week and the weather usually agrees. It's always a crap shoot with the weather but find the early part of July my best bet..
February in northern Virginia as it's sunnier (and higher potential for warmth just to spice things up) than the two preceding months, offers the occasional snowstorm, is normally mild during the day.
Didn't like the first two, rather grayish winters in Pittsburgh I spent, so it'll have to be October there. Moderate temperature-wise, reasonably sunny, and filled with the expectation of the first freeze along with leaves dropping.
I love October because that's when the leaves are changing and the weather is cooling off finally after the hot sticky summers down here. And of course Halloween starts the holiday season off for me. I love in my neighborhood the kids come out all dressed up(adults too) and it's actually fun to hand out the candy. I also love Dec and Jan because that is when I get the most time off work to go snow skiing, so those 2 months come in a close second.
Oh I'm such a common *****/basic *****, for I really like October too. Just something about the weather being in the 60s and the crisp autumn air and all the beautiful colors... it's great.
October-November-December are probably my three most favorite months. My least favorite month is March. I always get deathly ill at least once in this stupid month. I'm pretty neutral about Summer, well I really enjoy it till the point it gets too hot. Warmth is nice but not 90+ humid.
I guess to put a ribbon on it: Fall>Winter>Summer>Spring. With Winter & Summer being a lot closer in points than Fall/Spring.
