June was close to average, but prone to cloudy and rainy spells (I suspect the sunshine is off, as it's for another location in the state). A few humid bouts. Clear, sunny, and non-humid weather was hard to find. Around June 20 the weather turned extremely sticky with temperatures rarely going below 70°F and dew points staying mostly in the 70s, sometimes upper 60s. Lasted for a month. Then often below average weather mixed with hotter spells. And in contrast, here's Cambium's location (Norwalk, CT) roughly 80 miles south along the coast and a bit to the west

Also, in Central England where they have the world's longest temperature record, August was tied For 41st warmest out of 351 years in total.
