In the last 2 weeks
I think I have only seen 1 day without rain.
The rain is typically intermittent, often sunny or fair in the morning.
Sometimes between 10am-1pm intermittent rain starts up again.
Most days it rains at least 4 times.
Finally had some rain on Monday, 25mm which mostly fell in just 10 minutes from an intense thunderstorm. I can't remember the last time I experienced rain that heavy.
Unfortunately the weather has quickly returned to rubbish again.
It was an absolutely disgusting day today with very strong winds and very low humidity. It reached 31.9C, the 6th day to exceed 30C this September. It's expected to be cooler for the next few days (still above average maximums though) before more unseasonable heat next week, with the possibility of it reaching 36C (all-time record is 35.8C). This September is likely to be warmer than an average October for maximum temperatures.

I'm getting tired of this.
Don't have too much longer to wait, should be consistently dry and sunny in a few weeks. Has been a very wet September though with 100mm so far and another week of wet weather ahead.
Great spring weather today, with 3-4 hours of steady thunder - some of it overhead. Temperature at 3.00 pm is 20C with a dewpoint of 17C. Heavy rain with sunny spells.
massive downgrade in the forecast stupid ****ing penis mcghee **** just the usual ****ing polar cold fronts replacing any warmth in the forecast as per christ damn usual. And the storms forecast for tonight I'm sure won't eventuate, we'll get some nice stratus and light rain though instead as per ****ing usual
A few small fires inland from here yesterday, as a result of lightning. The same storm here, was accompanied by heavy downpours, but storms up there are typically drier than those here.
There looks to be a good chance of thunder for another day or two yet.
Lousy thunderstorm here, just damned inconvenient and seemingly as always when it's dark and you can't see anything properly.
