It surprises me that the rainfall distribution throughout the year in Madrid is the opposite to Las Vegas ones.
Madrid, as most parts of Iberian peninsula, has the main dry season in summer, and there is also a slightly dry season from January to March.
Thus, Madrid has the main rainy season from October to December, and the secondary rainy season from April to early June.
Azores High tend to remain near Iberian peninsula in summer for many consecutive days, so it causes our characteristics summer dry conditions.
Sometimes it also appears in winter months in a less powerful way.
It's just autumn and spring when Azores High tend to be weak here.
Madrid easily because of being cooler and wetter year round.
Not expected to hear this from you.
why?
Obviously I am a warm lover in winter. but I never said I am very hot summer lover
I needed to choose between hellish summer in Las vegas and cool winter in Madrid.Thats why I picked Madrid over las vegas.
