Was thinking about adding it to October so that we could have an extended summer with an average of 21/14, but in the end I think it has to be July so that we actually get a guaranteed summer each year. 29/19 sounds pretty nice!

Add 5 to March, snow would then be gone earlier.

I'd take away 5 degrees from July and add them to April.

I'd add 5C to September and give us one more month of summer, much like they start experiencing on the southern Oregon coast on southwards.

Take off 5C from either December or January so we'd get a guaranteed cold snowy spell every year, that lasts more than a couple of days. I think actually I'd take it from December: it and January have virtually the same average for 1981-2000 here, so the time of shortest days should get it. December is also slightly wetter so it would give more snow.

The cold December of 2010 felt very seasonal, one of the worst things the UK climate can do is give days of 10C and rain when it's getting dark at 4pm.

Take 5 away from september. Then that would be the ultimate climate. Sunny with temperature range of 20-27c.
