Weather has been so boring

2013 a very boring year? Fewest extreme weather events for the US? Looks like it.

2013 was very bloring in the first 6 months here. Well January was OK. A mixture of weather as any good winter month should have. A bit of everything including thunderstorms even and over a foot of snow. February and March was just solid cold and windy. Horribly boring. April-May-June were all cold with no real weather at all. It really got going in July, it's been OK since then apart from late August and most of September which was tedious.

yes this year was annoyingly quiet. not a single tropical storm to get me excited about no heat waves or cold snaps( the latter of which I'm grateful did not occur) no major flood events to really get me excited, a below normal rainy season that left me disappointed, and a below normal fire season. this is the first time that I can remember that all the weather extremes that florida can offer didn't materialise in their full glory. normally there will be at least one big thing to get me excited about this time I had to be content with typical afternoon storms and warm sunny weather.
