For some reason I never rated Winnipeg.

As much as I love continental climates, things get a bit too extreme there. Their March would be a great January, but things get a lot worse during their actual January ! Spring starts for real in May, and the summers albeit a bit cool are still pretty decent.

One redeeming thing is that it's decently sunny, even the winters are fine also considering it's at the same latitude as Paris.

I don't know, I'd probably give it a D+ or a C- because it's still fine for half of the year, and I like cold snowy winters, but it's a bit too much for my taste.

Pretty crazy that such a cold climate has five months of 100+ record highs.

It could be worse, but the winters are way too cold and long for me. I love snow and some cold, but this just overdoes it. At least winters are not so dry that there's almost no snow like in East Asia.

The summers are pretty nice, but too short. Looks like it'd be pretty hard to start a garden before mid-May.

I give it a C.
