Now slightly warmer room temp preference/tolerance range, but less "too cold when waking up" episodes (barely any past 6 months, even with similar room temps).

More exposed to cooler shower water as well, compared to 1.5 years ago.

It happens to me as well!! No matter the temperature. I think it's because my body activity has been low during the whole night, so I feel cold. I feel much warmer in the early evening.

Your metabolism hasn't gotten going yet when you wake up, so it makes sense that you feel cold in the morning.
