17.3/13.3°C (63.1/55.9°F) today, quite a bit warmer than last year's 8.4/1.9°C (47.1/35.4°F).
Up to 82 km/h (51 mph) this morning, then calmer. Wind is now picking up again. So far up to 124 km/h (77 mph) off Normandy and 119 km/h (74 mph) in Brittany.
I guess this windstorm will be harmless, compared with Kyrill windstorm in January 2007, won't it?
Well Kyrill wasn't that strong here on the coast, we had a maximum gust of 112 km/h back then, but inland areas of Germany were indeed much more affected with windspeeds in excess of over 150 km/h.
From this storm i expect a similiar value like Kyrill here, the last GFS Run from 18 UTC has downgraded the storm even further here with the 90 km/h passing by.
So we see what happens tomorrow.
Well, I do wonder what is going on down south, because at least here, the "storm" is no stronger than a gnat's fart. 12mph the fastest gust in the last hour.
