High was exactly 20.0°C / 68°F @ 16:46- unbelievable for this date. Several records have been broken throughout Germany today, the warmest station Soest even reached a high of 24.4°C (76°F) this afternoon.

wow. that's some impressive march heat right there. what's the all time record high for germany in march btw?

Highest temperature ever in March in Germany was 26.6°C (79.9°F) in Baden-Baden Geroldsau, this was recorded on March 28th 1989. So not very far away from todays values.. i wonder if even a temperature of 30°C could be possible in Late March somewhere in Germany, if the conditions are right.
