So far, at 8800', we've had 76" (200cm) of snow and the current depth is 39" (99cm). The next 5 days are supposed to be sunny and relatively warm, with highs near 40 F. No snow in the forecast until next Saturday

It definitely takes some time for people to adapt if they're coming from lower elevations. You see a lot of visitors get exhausted and dehydrated when they don't include an adjustment period in their hiking or skiing schedule.
7.5C at 17:44. Further East temps are already down to 4C , and that's around London. If it stays cloud free we might get a first frost tonight.
